Puzzled in Puzzletown

February 13
Woke up this morning and got a late start, but headed into Wanaka to go to Puzzletown - a cool, quirky place that is the world most "Eccentric" museum.  We enjoyed the world's largest outdoor maze.  Annie, Paulie and I barely made it through in a record 1 hours....what a feat!  Everything in here is weird.  There is a room that is tilted and makes you feel like you need to throw up (and we paid good money to feel that way!!)  Another room can make you grow or shrink....kind of like in Willy Wonka....that keeps us busy for a long while.  We finally have a snack and inquire about a local thrift store (no stop in ANY town anywhere in the world would be complete without the requisite thrift store visit) We are in luck...they have something called "Rubbage Busters" or "Garbage Masters" or something like that located right around the corner.  We enjoy looking through all of the items that have been disposed of.....racks of costumes, books, bikes, tools, equipment, and what we are after - suitcases.  We select a duffle bag and a hand full of books...we also donate some books that we are finished reading to lighten our load. We return to the campground to attempt to stuff all 5 sleeping bags into our newly acquired duffle and we are barely successful.  After our triumph of packing too many items into too small containers, we celebrate by doing nothing for several hours.  The kids play in the park like yard and we organize and laze about the house.  Tomorrow we will shed any extraneous items as we depart Queenstown and return to Auckland for the night and then fly out to Sydney VERY early the following morning.
